Mary Ruth Dykes Allen, of Whitwell, TN passed away Wednesday morning August 24, 2011 at Parkridge Medical Center. She was of the Church of God Faith. She was preceded in death by her parents; Herman and Lillie Dykes, brother H.J. Dykes.
She is survived by her son, Jeff Allen, two sisters Robbie Jean Dykes and Ray Dean Smith all of Whitwell, three nephews; four great-nieces.
Funeral services will be Saturday 2:00 pm CDT in the chapel with Brother Ronnie Cookston officiating. Burial will be in Red Hill Cemetery. Online condolences can be made at www.reedfamilyfh.com. Arrangements by Reed Funeral Home, 11657 Hwy 28, Whitwell, TN. The family will receive friends Friday 4-8 pm CDT.
