Elizabeth Brown, age 82 of Pikeville, died Tuesday, August 16, 2011. Elizabeth was a nurse for fifty plus years; a member of First Southern Baptist Church; a 1947 graduate of BCHS; member of B&PW Club and Cold Springs FCE Club. Preceding her in death was her husband Clarence Brown and died the same day as her sister Billie Sue Blaylock. Survivors include daughter Susan Roberson, Soddy Daisy; son Bill (Brenda) Brown, Pikeville; two grandchildren Caroline and Jr. Brown; sister Nellie (L. G.) Bayless, Al; several nieces, nephews, and cousins.
Services will be Friday at 11:00 am CDT in the funeral home chapel with burial following in Frazier Cemetery. Online condolences can be made at www.reedfamilyfh.com. Arrangements by Putnam-Reed Funeral Home, Hwy 127 South, Pikeville, TN. Visitation Thursday 4-9 pm CDT.
