Chester "Chet" Higdon, age 65 of the Daus Community, passed away July 19, 2011, surrounded by his loved ones. Chet ran the salvage yard in Daus for several decades. He was preceded in death by his parents John and Mary Frances Higdon; brothers Gray, Bob, and Tom Higdon.
Chet is survived by his sister Betty (Bill) Layne, Dunlap; brothers Richard Higdon, Herschel (Brenda) Higdon, and Larry Higdon all of Daus; and a multitude of nieces and nephews. Service will be Friday at 11am CDT in the funeral home chapel with Rev. Brad Bryan and Rev.Jack Nichols officiating the service. Burial will be in the Bryant Cemetery.
