Marvin F. Smith, age 75 of Crossville, died Thursday, July 14, 2011.
He was of the Baptist faith and retired from Crossville Rubber Products. He was preceded in death by parents, Litton and Duel Smith; sisters, Ida Lee Thomas and Virginia Nole; brothers, Robert Smith. Nelson and Clarence Smith.
He is survived by his wife of fifty four years, Mildred Smith, Crossville; one son, Kenneth Smith, Crossville; granddaughter, Felicia Smith, Lewisburg; grandson, Kevin Smith, Crossville; two sisters, Aileen Hale, Pikeville and Evelyn Smith, Memphis; several nieces and nephews.
Funeral service will be held Sunday at 2:00 p.m. CDT in the funeral home chapel. Burial in Atkins cemetery. Visitation will be Saturday 5-9 p.m. CDT. Online condolences can be made at www.reedfamilyfh.com. Arrangements by Putnam-Reed Funeral Home, Hwy 127 South, Pikeville, TN.
