Birdie Louree "Boots" Johnson, age 80, of Chattanooga, TN, died Tuesday, July 12, 2011. She was a member of Christ United Methodist Church and taught Sunday school for many years at Welch Chapel United Methodist Church. She also managed her husbands dental office until retirement. She was a loving and devoted wife.
She was preceded death by parents, Ambrose and Grace Smith Narramore; brother, Randall Narramore.
She is survived by husband, Dr. Carroll F. Johnson; sisters, Bernice Cain, Dunlap, Norma (Charles) Hixson, Hixson, TN, Ann (Dale) Henry, McMinnville, a special sister and caregiver for over 10 years, Lois Capehart, Chattanooga; brother, Curtis (Gertrude) Narramore; special nephew, Lee Capehart, Ringgold, GA; several nieces and nephews.
Funeral services will be held Wednesday 7:00 p.m. EDT in the funeral home chapel with Minister Lawrence Clark officiating. Private burial will be in the Chapel Hill Cemetery.
