Velma Brown, age 97 of Pikeville, died Monday, January 3, 2011. She was of the Baptist faith. Velma was preceded in death by daughter Betty Posey and step-son Earl Brown.
Survivors include two daughters Lorina Cox and Wanda Pelfrey both of Pikeville; four grandchildren; several great- grandchildren, great-great-grandchildren, nieces and nephews. Services will be Wednesday at 1:00 pm CST in the funeral home chapel with Bro. Wayne Sullivan officiating. Burial will follow in Kiuka Cemetery.
